Take These Important Steps So You Can Sell & Be Paid Commissions for Individual Marketplace (Exchange) and SHOP (Small Group) Business
The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced the mandated broker training requirements for the Federally-facilitiated Individual Marketplace (FFM) and Federally-facilitated SHOP (FF-SHOP).
To participate in the FFM or FF-SHOP, agents/brokers must:
The training requires you to complete two parts:
Part 1 - Medicare Learning Network ® (MLN)
Part II - Federally Facilitated Marketplace User Account
You will receive a training completion certificate after successfully completing all applicable exams and Agreements.
Please remember that you must send copies of your training certificates to your general agency so that you can be paid commissions for any business you sell of the Federal Marketplace for Individuals or SHOP.
