Why does CoOportunity Health want to verify my identity?

Your privacy is very important to us. We limit access to some features until you verify your identity to make sure your sensitive information is private and secure.

How does the U.S. mail process work?

If you choose to verify your identity via U.S. mail, a code will be sent to you. It should arrive at your home within a week. Simply log on and enter the code to access all features in your account. If your code does not arrive within 7 days, call 888.511.6131.

What if I lose the code or the code I received in the mail doesn't work?

You'll be able to request a new code or verify your identity online.

Why does CoOportunity Health want to verify my identity?

How does the online process work?

You'll be asked to answer a few questions to verify you are who you say you are. Once you've successfully answered the questions, you will have access to additional features in your account.

Where do the questions come from? Our independent fraud prevention service, Experian, uses public databases and your credit history to create questions only you can answer. This is not a credit check with credit agencies and is not reflected in your credit score.

What if I can't complete the online process?

If you are not able to answer the questions or do not have a long enough credit history, you will be asked to request that a code be sent through the U.S. mail.
