CoOportunity Health has contracted with HealthPartners Administrators, Inc. to provide claims processing, medical management and certain other administrative services.
HealthPartners Administrators, Inc. will be referred to as HPAI.
HPAI has relationships with the intermediaries listed below to provide clearinghouse functions for all providers. Providers are required to contact these intermediaries directly to enroll for electronic transaction to HPAI. If a provider is already enrolled through HPAI, reenrollment is not required.
Please work with your vendor to verify that a connection is established for your electronic data interchange (EDI) needs with one of the listed clearinghouses as you will submit claims and other administrative transactions to HPAI—not Midlands Choice.
Providers may perform the following electronic transactions through HealthPartners approved clearinghouses:
- Submit claims electronically (837)
- Receive electronic remittance advice (835)
- Verify patient eligibility and coverage (270/271)
- Check the status of a claim (276/277)
